Brașov | Ghimbav International Airport is the first energy-efficient airport in Romania. The airport was opened at the end of 2022 and from mid-June 2023 the airport is already part of the direct flight schedule of many airlines.
From 15 June 2023, the new Romanian airline DAN-Air will fly from Brasov | Ghimbav International Airport to and from. Barcelona (every Tuesday) | Brussels (every Wednesday) | Budapest (every Tuesday & Sunday) | London (every Friday) | Milan (every Monday) | Munich (every Saturday) | Nuremberg (every Thursday)
E-mobility at the airport
Electric vehicles are also supported at the airport, as in many areas of the city of Brasov. Five charging columns are available in the airport car park. And while the vehicles are “charging up”, the visitor can enjoy the wonderful panorama of the airport.
